Wonderful Wednesdays

I've been teaching Wednesday 10:30-11:30 at Issha, for years. It has always been a great class and the students have always been special. As for the current members, we have all become really close lately. The thanks goes to one student in particular, who happens to be Korean-Japanese. Not only is this class fond of Korean dramas and Korean culture but thanks to her we also get to have the best homemade Korean food this side of the Sea of Japan! She routinely invites us to her beautiful home and prepares us the most wonderful dishes imaginable. I feel so strongly about her kindness that I am compelled to chronicle my thoughts and the pictures, in this blog entry. Normally the "web files" are for major events but I have decided that the Korean lunches at my student's house are worthy of being remembered forever. Thank you again!

Here are just some of the dishes!

Thanks for subbing my class at 11:30 Rich!

Ok ladies! I'm back from lunch and ready to teach you! Are you enjoying the flowers?

Not only is our host an incredible cook but she's a talented flower maker! She made these by hand! Wow!

Thanks again for a wonderful Wednesday!
